We are extremely honored to have Mr. Iacovelli as our guest speaker. John Iacovelli has over forty years of experience in higher education - all in New Jersey. He is the former Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at Trenton State College, now, The College of New Jersey and the former Senior Director of Client Services and Marketing for The Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA).
He retired from his position as the Dean of Enrollment Management at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. He is currently working as a private consultant in the field of college admissions and financial aid helping families navigate the process.
Mr. Iacovelli’s presentation, Financial Aid 101, is a session designed for parents and students that demystifies the student aid process. The session reviews the types and sources of student financial assistance and guides the audience through the filing of the FAFSA and the packaging of student aid awards by colleges.
Since the FAFSA determines all need-based aid and every college requires the FAFSA, it is very important that the form is completed correctly.
