Shawnee High School Presents Jake Strong's Magic Show to Benefit Make-A-Wish NJ
Do you like magic? Then do not miss the opportunity to see a great magic show at Shawnee High School on Friday, March 15 at 7:00pm! Jake Strong, a senior at Shawnee High School, is performing his magnificent magic act. Jake performed over 100 shows in 2018 and is volunteering his time to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. All proceeds from the event will benefit Make-A-Wish New Jersey. You can make a difference in the life of a child facing a critical illness just by purchasing one ticket! Dorothy Morrison, a volunteer with Make-A-Wish NJ, will also be in attendance to share the impact of a life-changing wish granted to a child diagnosed with a critical illness.
Each wish that Make-A-Wish NJ grants costs on average between $8,000 and $12,000. Shawnee’s Kids for Wish Kids Club has donated thousands of dollars for the past five years to Make-A-Wish NJ, including a donation of $12,000 last year. We are hoping to exceed that amount this year with the help of Jake’s Magic Show and other events. The support of the community is greatly appreciated and will help grant a special wish for a deserving child.
