February Employee of the Month      Jen Pfeiffer

    Jen has taken on a new teaching role this year in her capacity as a teacher and manager in the Lenape Trading Post.  She has given the school store a brand new look, offering new opportunities for the students and the customers in the store.  Jen has given the students with disabilities that work in the store a chance to experience a retail and customer service setting, while also helping these students develop organizational, social and financial skills that they can use throughout their life.  Jen has also incorporated a “Peer Buddy” system in the store where general education students and students with disabilities are partnered together to achieve the common goal of running a successful business.  It is for this and so many other contributions that have earned Jen Pfeiffer the recognition as Employee of the Month.
