January Students of the Month

January Students of the Month

9th Grade

dominic Jones

Dom is kind and helpful when other students are too busy to assist.  He has manners and compassion and notices when his teachers or classmates need a smile or a word of encouragement.  Dom is very mannerly, always says hello, and holds the door like a true gentleman.  As a student Dom consistently seeks extra help or clarification during Lunch and Learn and consistently demonstrates what it means to be a model for others here at Lenape.  This makes him a worthy recipient of Student of the Month recognition.

10th grade

Kyle Smith

Kyle took it upon himself to help those in need this holiday season by organizing a school wide toiletry drive and a holiday card making drive for homeless teens in the United States.  Kyle balances this humanitarian drive with his involvement in theater both inside and outside of Lenape.  Kyle is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and walks the halls of Lenape in a positive manner and with a great deal of Lenape Pride.  These contributions make Kyle a great Student of the Month recipient.

 11th Grade

Nathaly Clavijo

Nathaly has served as a student guide for a recent transfer student that speaks limited English.  Nathaly has gone above and beyond the call of duty in this role.  She checks in with her teachers on a daily basis to see how the student is doing and is always asking if there is anything that she can do to help.  Nathaly’s role as a student guide has not gone unnoticed and is greatly appreciated as she brings a positive attitude to the classroom and in her interactions with students and staff at Lenape.

12th Grade

Jessica Trauger

Jess is one of the most helpful and pleasant students that you will ever come across.  She is always ready with a smile and a warm greeting when she sees you in the hallway.  She walks into class with a very warm greeting.  Jess works hard in class, regardless of the task, participates on a daily basis and is a positive influence on her peers in class.  Jess is always willing to volunteer her time to any cause, and is happy to help out in any situation regardless of the time required.  Jess has so many wonderful qualities and character traits, and is a remarkable young lady and a positive role model to those around her.
