English I Procedures and Expectations

Mr. Nahill’s Class

Welcome to Mr. Nahill’s 9^th grade class at Seneca High School.  Freshman year is an eclectic mix of different works with a strong emphasis on writing.  You will not only learn to navigate the halls of Seneca, but also the styles, cultures, and differing time periods of various important works.  You will experience everything from William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet to a more up and coming novel with a modern mindset. Through it all you will constantly be asked to read, write, and reflect.  I hope to make this year an interesting and memorable year for you and I look forward to getting started.
