  • Gavin Oh Selected All-State Symphonic Band

    Gavin Oh was the first percussionist in Shawnee history to be selected to the All-State Symphonic Band. He was selected based off his successful audition against the best musicians in the State this past weekend at JP Stevens High School. The All-State Symphonic Band will perform at the New Jersey Music Educator's Conference in Atlantic City this February.

The Moorestown meet had first place wins by Luke Masters and Paul Romano, who were also relay winners with Alexander Reihl and Jack McKenna. Andrew Hill and Alexander Reihl had double first place wins at both meets, as well as a relay win at RV along with Luke Masters and Owen Reed, and another first place individual win by Jack McKenna.   • Congratulations to the Girls Soccer Team on their 3-0 playoff win against Hammonton yesterday. Goals were scored by Liv Dunay, Katie Portley, and Courtney Davis. McKenzie McCready had assists on all 3 goals for the Renegades. Joellie Giquinto and Erin Doyle led the back line that helped Mack Borbi secure the shutout. Our Renegades are now 16 and 4 on the season and will play in the Quarterfinals at home on Friday at 2pm.

  • Any senior planning to continue on to a 2- or 4-year school or trade school next year should complete the ONLINE LOCAL AWARDS APPLICATION located on the Shawnee home page, beginning February 1, 2022. This one application form makes you eligible for one of the many awards presented at graduation in June. The deadline to complete the online application is February 25 – it will not be available after this date, so don’t delay! Many additional local and national scholarships are also available; applications can be downloaded from the Counseling Center page under Scholarships.   • Six of Shawnee's Band students were selected for the All-South Jersey Band and Orchestra. Sophia Albano, Phil Balint, Ryan Loughead, Bryan McNaughton, Brooke Mosley, and Gavin Oh were selected based off of their successful auditions against South Jersey's top musicians.
