    **The 2019 Local Awards Application is now available for the class of 2019**.  Hard copies of the application are be available in the Counseling Center. Click here to download a digital copy. All seniors are encouraged to complete this application! 

    • Community organizations offer local scholarships and awards to graduating seniors. This application will allow you to be considered for each scholarship and award. All seniors are encouraged to complete this application. 

    Some local scholarships require separate applications. Those scholarships will be available at the bottom of this page under the heading Local & NJ Scholarships. These applications must be filled out in addition to the General Application for Local Scholarships if you want to be considered. Please check the applications for specific requirements and eligibility. 

    In addition, many scholarships are offered by various companies and organizations on a national level.  Some of those scholarship opportunities will be on this page under the heading National Scholarships. Please check the applications for specific requirements and eligibility. 

      

     

     Scholarships 2018-2019

    Local & NJ Scholarships:

    NJ Schoolwomen’s Club Scholarship

    Awarding 1 $1000 scholarship and 2 $500 scholarships.  Must be a female senior who intends to pursue a career in the field of education. For requirements and application, CLICK HERE.   Deadline: March 4, 2019

    The NJ Society of Certified Public Accountants

    Awards $7,000 scholarships to college-bound New Jersey high school seniors intending to major in accounting or obtain a concentration in accounting which includes not less than 24 accounting credits. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, standardized test scores, essay and personal interview. For requirements and application, CLICK HEREDeadline: December 15, 2018

    The New Jersey JCI Senate

    Offering $1,000 grants to high school seniors who are US citizens graduating from US accredited schools, and plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools.  For requirements and application, CLICK HEREDeadline: January 11, 2019

    The Delaware Valley Mensa organization

    Offers awards for those seniors who will be enrolled in an accredited American institute of post-secondary education next fall. Awards are based on various criteria. For requirements and application, CLICK HERE Deadline: January 15, 2019

    The Janet Logan Daily Foundation

    Awarding a $10,000 scholarship. Must be a high school senior from NJ who enrolls full-time in an accredited university or college in the US. Student must have routinely demonstrated maturity and integrity within and beyond the classroom. For requirements and application, CLICK HEREDeadline: April 1,2019

    Isabelle M. Hickman Scholarship

    Awarding a $1,500 renewable scholarship to a student who is in the top 5% of their graduating class and has been accepted by a four-year college. For requirements and application, CLICK HEREDeadline: April 1, 2019

    The Janet Logan Daily Foundation

    Awarding a $10,000 scholarship. Must be a high school senior from NJ who enrolls full-time in an accredited university or college in the US.     Pest Control Scholarship

    Awarding a $1000 scholarship. Winner will be selected based on submission of a creative joke, story, or quick video. For requirements and application, CLICK HERE. Deadline: April 30, 2019

    New Jersey Relocation Council

    Awarding 3 $1,000 scholarships to college-bound who have relocated during their high school years from one school to another, at a distance of at least 50 miles.  Their GPA must be 3.0 or higher.  CLICK HERE for the application. Deadline: February 1, 2019

     

    InspirASIAN Scholarship Program

    $2,000 (national) and $1,000 (New Jersey) scholarships.  High school seniors in good academic standing (minimum unweighted cumulative GPA 3.40 on 4-point scale), of any ethnic or cultural background, who plan to attend an accredited college or university. For requirements and application, CLICK HERE. Deadline: January 31, 2019

    National Scholarships: 

    Opportunities for members of FIRST Robotics Team

    CLICK HERE to see if you are eligible for a scholarship through your academic achievement and your participation in Robotics. Deadlines range 1/1/19-4/30/19.

    Berger King McLamore Foundation

    Scholarships range from $1,000 to $50,000. Must be graduating senior with plans to attend a two- or four-year accredited university, college or vocational-technical. Selected based on being passionate about serving the community.  2.5 minimum GPA. For requirements and application, CLICK HEREDeadline: December 15, 2018

    Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program

    Recognizes students for their community service, academic performance and leadership skills. This year, scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded to over 800 students nationwide. Minimum GPA of 3.0. Must demonstrate financial need. CLICK HEREDeadline: December 7, 2018

    AXA Achievement Community Scholarship

    Awarding scholarships to students who set and reach ambitious goals, demonstrate drive and determination, respect for self, family and community, and the ability to succeed in college. For requirements and application, CLICK HERE. Deadline December 14, 2018

    The GE-Reagan Foundation

    Awarding 20 $10,000 renewable scholarships to college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship.  For requirements and application, CLICK HERE.  Deadline: January 4, 2019

    Tzu Chi Scholarship

    Awarding multiple $1,000 scholarships.  Winners are selected on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement.    For requirements and application, CLICK HERE.  Deadline: March 1, 2019

    The National Restaurant Association

    Offering scholarships from $2,500 to $10,000. Applicants must be pursuing studies in a restaurant and foodservice-related program. For requirements and application, CLICK HERE.   Deadline: March 15, 2019

    American College Foundation: Visionary Scholarship Program

    Awarding multiple scholarships which range from $1,000 to $5,000 each. Winners are selected based on submission of a 500-word essay. Financial need is NOT considered; all income levels are encouraged to apply.  All high school students (grades 9-12) are eligible to apply.     The Big Sun Organization

    Awarding a $500 scholarship to a student athlete.  All athletes are welcome to apply. CLICK HERE for the application. Deadline: June 19, 2019

    New Jersey Stars: A scholarship program exclusively for New Jersey residents that covers the cost of tuition at New Jersey's 19 community colleges. Students who rank in the top 15 percent of their high school class at the end of either junior or senior year may be eligible. Visit www.njstars.net for details.
