While most college planning sites on the Internet provide a combination of services, including financial aid and scholarship searches, the sites listed below deal strictly with the financial concerns of going to college.

HESAA, the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority, is the only New Jersey state agency with the sole mission of providing students and families with financial and informational resources for students to pursue their education beyond high school.
This is the home site for all your needs concerning the Free Application for Federal Student Assistance form (FAFSA).  This is where you can apply online during senior year for state, federal and college need-based aid, all on one form. The required college codes are also listed here.
This is part of the College Board Online site and allows the user to file the Profile financial aid form to supplement the FAFSA.  This should be done only if the college or organization specifically requires the Profile.  Unlike the FAFSA, there is a charge for filing the Profile.
One of the best free scholarship searches available on the web is at this site.  Users can establish an electronic mailbox for future scholarship news, apply to college online or use the college directory.
This organization posts information on scholarship scams as well as provides a scholarship search.  Users can also subscribe to a free newsletter.  A loan calculator and loan comparison chart are also available.  Parents can turn to the special section designed with their questions/concerns in mind. Another section deals specifically with scholarships for minority students.
This is a free scholarship search site.
Find the student loan program that best fits your needs.  You can apply for a loan online as well as search for scholarships.  Sign up for a free newsletter.
This site deals with student loans.
This scholarship search site features financial opportunities for athletes, minorities, ethnic groups, religions and other special categories.
This is a way to find micro-scholarships.
