The 2025-2026 school year is under way. Throughout the year, we will hold various meetings to provide parents and families with opportunities to come together, share information, ask questions, gather resources and become involved.  POSES parent meetings are listed below in chronological order.  Please check back regularly as we continue to schedule new meetings.

10/30/25 Transition to High School Parent Meeting

  • Presentation for new and 9th grade students and their parents.  Speakers will review Individual Studies course, special education courses, extra-curricular activities, guidance and special services resources, as well as special parenting tips and ideas to help parents navigate the journey through their student's high school years.

12/4/2025 DDD and OTC Parent Meeting

  • Navigating DDD Services  and Services through the Occupational Training Center (OTC)Presentation for parents needing an introduction to and information on timelines for transitioning students with the Division of Developmental Disabilities as well as the Occupational Training Center beyond high school.

  • Presentation on the services provided by the NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services to assist students and families on the process from referral through eligibility determination for services.

►The Parents of Special Education Students (POSES)/ Parent Advisory Group (PAG) collaborates on the goals of:
  • providing parents, guardians and caregivers the opportunity to share input regarding special education programs and services in the school
  • increasing community involvement and elicit input on relevant topics for future presentations and information sharing, and
  • facilitating communication for positive interactions with district and school staff.
