Board of Education Student Representative
Business Administrator and Board Secretary Kara L. Huber had the privilege of swearing in Board of Education Student Representative Yesha Sethu from Cherokee High School. Yesha will serve as a nonvoting student representative on the Board for the 2026-2027 school year. The student representative will rotate each school year among all four high schools in the district.

Business Administrator and Board Secretary Kara L. Huber had the privilege of swearing in Jennifer L. Levas from Medford Township who will be filling in for the remainder of the calendar year's term after the resignation of Amanda Fitchett. The remaining two years of Ms. Fitchett's term will be determined in the November election.
Heroes Honored
The Board of Education honored Cherokee athletic trainers Jonathan Cartwright & Karen Hengst, assistant football coaches Matt Hoffman & Matt Kuhlow, and volunteer football coaches John Calabria & Jason Curry for attending to a medical emergency involving a student over the summer. Their combined ability to quickly respond and initiate immediate emergency care aided in saving the student's life.

2025-2026 School Year Data Reports
Director of Programs & Planning Brad Bauer gave a public presentation on HIB grades and chronic absenteeism for the 2025-2026 school year. In addition, Director of Curriculum & Instruction Heather Xenakis gave a public presentation of the district performance data for the 2025-2026 school year including a graduation report.
