Lenape High School

Lenape recently had Homecoming, which came after a packed house on pride day and our spirit week. They had their pep rally, which featured all of the sports teams, a senior skit, a performance by the cheerleaders, and multiple games between all four grades. The seniors ended up winning the spirit stick after calculated dress-up points, hallway decorating, and their performances in the games. Earlier this year, Lenape also had their Activities Fair during Lunch & Learn, where about 40-60 clubs were represented and shown to students. Academically, there were recently 17 students who were commended for the National Merit Scholarship, and one National Semifinalist, Senior Jacob Booser.

Cherokee High School

Moving on to Cherokee, they also celebrated some great academic success. The National Merit Scholarship Program selected 11 students as Commended and two students as Semifinalists.  They also had 11 new members inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at the football game on October 4th. The senior class was welcomed back with a “senior sunrise,” to celebrate and enjoy their last first day of high school. They also held their annual club fair during Lunch & Learn to provide the students with an opportunity to get involved in extracurriculars.

Shawnee High School

At Shawnee, they’re looking forward to October 24th, which is the Shawnee Girls Volleyball's “Dig Pink” game. It is a fundraiser/game that supports ovarian cancer. It is a rivalry game against Seneca, so they have been preparing a huge bake sale and matching t-shirts to be sold to raise money! They are also excited for the Shawnee Trunk or Treat, which is a safe trick or treating event where students decorate their cars with a theme & families bring their kids to come trick or treat.

Seneca High School

Seneca recently had their Back to School Night on Tuesday, October 8th. They are preparing for October 26th, which is their Homecoming. Leading up to Homecoming, they have their spirit week and football game. They also have their pep rally, which includes the four grades dressing up as Halloween movie/character themes, games and a skit.
