Lenape High School

At Lenape, Lenape's Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) club sponsored a successful 5K Lace Up Against the Stigma Run on May 3rd. Over 150 participants helped raise awareness for a focus on positive mental health. Lenape has also been having a very successful spring sports run. Lenape Girls Lacrosse player Alexa Volpe earned her 300th career save as goalie in the team's game versus Cinnaminson. Lenape Boys Tennis won the Burlington County Open Team Championship. Lenape juniors also got to have a very fun night at JDD. It was well-attended, and all the students had a great night.

Shawnee High School

At Shawnee, the People’s Choice Awards took place, where teachers nominated and celebrated students for their excellence and leadership. The Mr. Shawnee event was also a huge success, featuring 11 boys who put on an amazing show for the student body—over 500 tickets were sold, and funds were raised for the NJ STUCO charity. Looking ahead, the Senior Day of Service is coming up soon, with many students signed up to visit their former middle or elementary schools, or to give back to the community in various ways. Prom is quickly approaching, along with the much-anticipated Renegames. In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, the Shawnee PTO organized a full week of exciting goodies, food, and giveaways to show their gratitude.

Seneca High School

At Seneca, the student council hosted the Bag Bingo event on May 1st, which had a great turnout and featured exciting prizes and bags for all the winners, making it a memorable evening. Looking ahead, they have their highly anticipated Nest Fest coming up later this month, just before Memorial Day weekend. During this event, the entire school gathers on the football field to enjoy games, food from various clubs, and time to socialize. It’s a fun and lively tradition that brings the whole school community together for the day.

Cherokee High School

Cherokee’s spring sports have had tremendous starts to their seasons. Girls Track and Field ran the 8th fastest 4x800m in SJ history, and second fastest in school history at the Penn Relays, capping off a successful meet. Both baseball and softball have come out of the gates hot, with baseball starting the season off 19-0, breaking the Cherokee consecutive win record of 17 wins in a row set in 1985. Softball has started the season off with a 12-4 record, earning strong wins over tough opponents. Members of DECA had the opportunity to travel to Orlando to attend the International Career Development Conference. Congratulations to Tom Marshall and Megan Niglio for being awarded the honor of Olympic Conference Scholar-Athletes from Cherokee High School. The class of 2025 had an amazing time at their senior prom, which included a beautiful promenade hosted in the performing arts center, and a wonderful venue at the Constitution Center.
