BOE Student Representative Monthly Report

Lenape High School

The Lenape Girls Basketball team won the NJSIAA Group IV State Championship!

Cherokee High School

Cherokee High School hosted the inaugural LRHSD Model UN conference. This was the first time Cherokee, Lenape and Shawnee gathered together to work on global issues and discuss peace, love, and planet Earth.

Shawnee High School

Shawnee Girls Swimming made school history by advancing to the state finals for the first time ever. They lost a close meet to Chatham in Neptune, New Jersey but were incredibly proud of their accomplishments this season. At the individual states, the girls won second and third place in their relays, breaking a school record in the 200 medley relay.

Seneca High School

Seneca received close to 70 pints of blood at their spring blood drive which was an even greater turnout than their fall blood drive.  The leading chair members were very pleased.

Cherokee Swimmer Wins State Championship

Cherokee Principal Donna Charlesworth, Athletic Director Kevin Meder, and Head Girls Swimming Coach Chelsea Latini introduced junior Addison Gebhart to the Board of Education.  Addison won her second straight State Championship in early March. For the second year in a row, Addy competed in the 50 meter freestyle and 100 meter freestyle at the Meet of Champions, taking home 1st place in both of her races. Her 50 meter freestyle time of 22.78 and her 100 meter freestyle time of 49.79 are her new best times, breaking her own school records.
