Lenape: 

• For the week of May 4th-8th, teachers were celebrated with food, treats, coffee, and gifts. Each day of the week was celebrated in a different way, such as Monday's Sweet and Salty and Friday's A Little Gift of Thanks. Materials and food were provided by PTO and GSA, as well as students involved from clubs such as NHS or members of the Class of 2026. 
• On April 30th, the club No Place for Hate visited Harrington Middle School to work with the 8th grade social studies classes. Through activities and open conversations, the students practiced what it means to create a safe and inclusive space. 
• Anika Valluri, from the Class of 2027, placed Top 20 overall in her event of Retail Merchandising at DECA's annual International Career Development Conference. She competed with students from across the country as well as Ontario, Puerto Rico, and others. 

Cherokee:

• Cherokee students had a wonderful time at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia for their senior prom! This night was filled with dancing, incredible food, and memories that will last a lifetime.

• The Cherokee Class of 2029 battled out the rainy weather at Dorney Park to have a fun-filled day with their classmates. While also venturing through rainy weather, the Class of 2028 had a spectacular trip to Hershey Park.

• Audiences were absolutely amazed by the outstanding production of “Footloose” brought to them by Cherokee’s Theater Department. From opening to closing night, the cast and crew performed truly entertaining and engaging shows!

Shawnee: 

• Shawnee had their Senior Sunset on June 10th, which celebrated the seniors and the end of their high school career. This event was full of bittersweet emotions, food and a fly- by, by their own senior Anya Wilt. Seniors brought their yearbooks and took many pictures as the sun went down. It was a great way to make a few more memories before graduation. 

• Mr. Baer’s AP Government class had a special guest visitor Senator Latham Tiver, who is also a Shawnee alumnus. He shared his story of how he became Senator and explained that just because you do not follow the typical path of most people, doesn't mean you cannot be successful. His main message was that the only way to get ahead in life is to work hard. 

• Shawnee had their annual Academic Awards Ceremony on May 27th. Many students received awards pertaining to their hard work and dedication to academics at school. At the end, all of the seniors announced where they will be headed after graduation and lined up for a group picture on stage. 

Seneca:

• Nest Fest was in full swing and Student Council members received free t-shirts. Prior to the fun day at Nest Fest, there was a school-wide assembly where the Locks for Love portion of their Relay for Life event took place. Over 30 students, teachers, and teachers' children donated at least 8 inches of hair to make wigs for those impacted by cancer!

• Their Relay for Life event took place from 5-11 pm on Friday June 5th where students walked for those who can't and are experiencing cancer, or have been impacted by cancer. This event had over 500 participants. There were food trucks, lemonade, coffee, and Mr. Softee. The concession stands had a wide assortment of foods. But the most important part were the guest speakers and the dedicated laps that were highlighted by luminaria bags around the track, and lights of hope on the bleachers. This event raised over $50,000 and touched the lives of so many, and it will continue to impact the lives of people being helped out with their donations of money and hair.

• 21 members attended the annual Student Council Convention/Award Ceremony at Six Flags Great Adventure where they accepted an award and then experienced a day at the theme park.
