You should receive these test alerts on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 .

Drills
The New Jersey Department of Education requires that schools conduct one fire drill and one security drill each month students are present. Drills are conducted without prior notification to parents, students and staff. Security drills vary, but must include the following drills over the course of the school year:
- 2 evacuation drills
- 2 bomb threat drills
- 2 lockdown drills
- 2 active shooter lockdown drills
- 2 miscellaneous drills (shelter in place)
Parents and Guardians will be notified by email by the end of the day when a School Security Drill was conducted.
Notification Process
In the event of a real incident, timely and accurate communication with parents and guardians is essential. The Lenape Regional High School District shall utilize one or more of the following notification methods:
- Text Message
- School and district websites
- LDTV
- X (Formerly Twitter): @LRHSDstatus
The goal of the Lenape Regional High School District is to provide timely and accurate communication during school emergencies. Numerous agencies at the local, county and state levels collaborate during these situations to 1) ensure the safety of our students and staff and 2) provide information as quickly as possible to families and the community.
Our first priority is always the safety of our students and staff, directly followed by accurate communication to families.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact your child’s school.
Sincerely,
Matthew D. Webb
