The Culinary Club meets on Wednesday in B-101 every other week.
The semesterized fee is $10.00 to cover the cost of ingredients.
Spring 2019 dues for the second semester and a parental consent form (below) are due before Wednesday February 6th.
The SHS activity fee does not apply to this club.
The club is “student-driven”, meaning that students decide what you would like to learn to make. A recipe is decided on by the club and instruction with equiment and recipe preparation are provided.
Club meetings and Recipes are advertised on the Renegade Morning Show, PA announcements, TV scrolling announcements, and outside classroom B-101. Communication is facilitated by the Group Me app. Students should be sure to download the app and become registered.
To reserve a spot students should sign-up on the sign up sheet outside of B-101 as we are now reserving spaces in each kitchen.
The interest in the Culinary Club has grown by leaps and bounds. If we find that there are too many students to work with safety in B-101 we may need to separate into an "A" and "B" group format which would still meet two times monthly only on alternating weeks. Information regarding this will be forthcoming if needed.
NHS credit may be acquired by attending 50% of the 18 to 20 meetings for a full year. A sign in sheet is used at each meeting to record attendance.
Many students play seasonal sports so the semesterized approach allows for freedom to choose your semester.
