Cherokee's World Affairs Council participates in the Academic World Quest sponsored by the state and national World Affairs Councils. AWQ is a rigorous academic competition focused on world affairs and current events. World Affairs Council is open to all students who are interested in Social Studies and Current Events. Meetings will focus on prepping for the AWQ which happens in April.
