Congratulations to the Girls Track & Field team that competed at the Olympic Conference Championship. Paige Cline placed second in the 3200 and finished 1st team all conference. Gabby Pullen finished third in the pole vault. Kat McCrosson placed 3rd in discus. The 4x100 meter relay of Kate Gsell, Amy Lynam, Sakiyah Horsley and Diana DeMarco placed 3rd. Amy Lynam also placed 5th in the long jump and Kate Gsell placed 6th.

Shawnee Baseball beat Deptford in the 1st round of the South Jersey Group 3 playoffs. Ben Hudson led the way with a 12 strikeout complete game on the mound for the Renegades. Nick O'Brien homered while Josh Goulburn, Danny Scullion and Michael Pierson all doubled. The next game is home on Thursday vs Mainland at 3:30.

It's never too early to start planning for your senior trip! All three classes are selling The Food Book of South Jersey as an individual fundraiser. Each book costs $10 and $6 will go towards your individual account. Please see one of your class advisors for order forms, a sample book and more information! -

Senior Prom ticket sales are happening in the auditorium starting Wednesday, April 19th through Friday, April 28th during lunch and learn. In order to purchase a ticket, you need both the parent and student Genesis forms completed. If you are bringing an outside guest, the form needs to be submitted before you purchase your ticket. If you are bringing an underclassman from Shawnee, they need to be present when you purchase a ticket.
Tickets are $110 and can be paid in cash or check. Contact Ms. Cummings or Mr. Baer with any questions. -
On Friday, one lucky staff member will be chosen to get pied in the face on the morning show. Please vote for either Mr. O'Keefe, Mr. Baer, Mrs. Fanourgakis, or Mr. Campbell by donating during Lunch and Learn. The winner will be decided by whoever has the most money raised in their name. Any donation is appreciated and will go towards the animal shelter project for Cedar Run.

The Yellow Ribbon Club is selling Memorial Day Shirts! Now on sale in Watermelon Red and Granite Gray, both colors come in short sleeve and long sleeve. Short sleeve are $15 and Long sleeve are $25. Cash or Check are due to Mrs. Belville or a member of the YRC by May 3rd. Shirts will be in before Memorial Day Weekend. Thank you for your support and for continuing to Honor our Military.

Congratulations to Ms. Michelle Hartshone who won The Great Jelly Bean Counting Contest with the Special Ed teachers. Mrs. Cindy Cornell came in 2nd, Mrs. Nancy Suto came in 3rd and Mr. Mike Broyles 4th. Don't eat all 500 jelly beans at once !

Shawnee Band Members performed with the All-South Jersey Jazz Bands this past weekend at Cinnaminson High School. Jane D'Andrea, Max Gasik, Melody Gomez, Rex Jacob, Gavin Oh, Patrick Orphanos, and Claire Volinksi were selected based on their successful auditions against the areas best young jazz musicians.
