    Bond Referendum Logo

Big changes for Cherokee High School are proposed through a bond referendum as part of the Nov. 2 General Election. At Cherokee, voter approval would add air conditioning, improve athletic facilities with LED lighting at the Stadium, expand the district’s Career Pathway programs and renovate restrooms.

Even if you’re living away from your permanent home, you will be able to vote by mail. But timing matters! You must be registered to vote by Oct. 12, and that’s a good time to request a mail-in ballot to beat the deadline. After that, voting is as easy as getting informed and submitting your ballot.

Watch some videos on LRHSD.org/vote (you may even see people you know!) and follow @LRHSDvote on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to get info and reminders.

LRHSD qualifies for state aid to help fund these projects if they are completed through a bond referendum, meaning we can do all of this with a ZERO tax impact. We see this as an investment in LRHSD to maintain our legacy of excellence.
