    What is the purpose of the Environmental Club?
     
       The purpose of the Environmental Club is to increase awareness of the relationships between human actions and our environment, educate the
       school community of steps that can be taken to improve our environment, and to encourage responsible enviromental behaviors.
     
     
    When does Environmental Club meet?
     
       Organizational Meeting - September date TBA
     
       Monthly Dates will be determined then
     
     
    What are some past activities?
    • Yearly Yard Sale - usually a Saturday around Earth Day.
    • Collecting old cell phones for Recycling and Soldiers.
    • Recycling Notebooks at the end of the school year.
    • Interviewing local governmental officials about Recycling in our communities for a piece on LDTV.
    • Participation in Nike Reuse-A-Shoe program.
    • Guest Speakers.
    • Donation to Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge.
    • Reusing materials to create new objects and gifts.
    • Beach Clean up
    • Safe Trick or Treat
    • Earth Hour
    • District recycling committee
    • Arbor Day Tree planting
    • Make and hang pine cone bird feeders
