Process to Pursue Physical Education Exemption
- Interested students should select Option 2 PE in course selection portal.
- Counseling Department will send school-specific Google Form (PE Exemption Application) to students and parents/guardians who selected Option 2 PE as a course request.
- Counselors confirm that all students in their alpha completed the form and then change schedules accordingly. Students who do not complete the form are not signed up for Option 2 PE.
- For students participating in a LRHSD sport/activity or marhcing band, nothing else needs to be done by the student or parent/guardian unless the student does not end up participating in that sport/activity or has a season-ending injury.
- For students requesting to earn PE credits through an outside sport, counselors send "Coaches Form" and ensure that the sport meets the criteria.
