Michael Bisignano

Mr. Michael Bisignano graduated from Shawnee High School in just three years as the Valedictorian of the Class of 1987. He went on to graduate magna cum laude with a dual major in International Relations and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He then took his passion for learning to Harvard Law School where he earned a doctorate degree in law. Mr. Bisignano also excelled outside the classroom. He has worked as an analyst at Morgan Stanley and is now General Counsel and Vice President for the publicly traded company, Online Resources Corporation. In addition to his many professional achievements, Mr. Bisignano has also donated his time and services as the General Counsel for the National Network to End Domestic Violence. Mr. Bisignano currently resides in Gaithersburg, Maryland, with his wife and three children.
Dr. Kathryn Cottingham

Dr. Kathryn Cottingham is a member of the class of 1986. After Shawnee, she attended Drew University where she earned a bachelor degree in both mathematics and biology while playing field hockey and lacrosse. Kathryn took her passion for science to the University of Wisconsin where she earned her Master's and Ph.D. in Zo ology. Among her many academic and professional honors, Dr. Cottingham has published over forty peer reviewed articles and papers. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Dartmouth College, where she teaches ecology and statistics, mentors undergraduate and graduate students and perform s research on freshwater ecosystems. Dr. Cottingham is also one of twelve American scientists working on the Sino-USA Collaboration project with Chinese scientists studying how ecosystems impact our economy. She currently resides in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Jim Coulter

Mr. Jim Coulter, a former Student Council President and valedictorian, graduated from High School as a member of the class of 1978. He is a Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College. Mr. Coulter earned a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford School of Business as an Arjay Miller Scholar. He is a founding partner of the San Francisco based private equity firm, Texas Pacific Group. TPG Capital, Inc. is a leading global private equity firm with fifteen offices around the world and assets under management in excess of $50 billion. Mr. Coulter has been involved in some of the largest leveraged buyout transactions on record. In September 2007, Mr. Coulter was named 135 on the Forbes list of 400 Richest Americans. Mr. Coulter currently resides in San Francisco, California, with his wife and three children.
Bill Leach

Mr. Bill Leach, a Shawnee Graduate of the Class of 1982, is a civil Naval Air mechanical engineer at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Lakehurst, NJ. He is currently working as a Team Leader for the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Science and Technology Transition Team. After graduating from Shawnee, Mr. Leach earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Masters in Engineering from Rutgers Widener University. Among his many honors, Mr. Leach was inducted as NAVAIR Senior Engineer which recognizes the top two percent of Engineers and was a recipient of the Department of Defense Value Engineering Award. In addition to his many professional achievements, Mr. Leach is active in his community as a founding member of the Shamong Foundation for Educational Excellence, assistant scout master and coach. Mr. Leach currently resides in Shamong, New Jersey with his wife and four children.
Chris Miles

Mr. Chris Miles graduated from Shawnee High School as a member of the class of 1988. After Shawnee, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Delaware. Mr. Miles founded Miles Technologies in 1997 at the age of 26 with no outside capital. Since then, he has grown the company from a $50,000 business to a multi-million dollar company that distinguished itself as one of the top technology solutions on the east coast. Mr. Miles has also been a guest on CN8 Comcast Newsmakers and has been featured on both It’s Your Call with Lynn Doyle and Money Matters. In addition to his professional success, Mr. Miles is the founder of “A Step to Hope” a charity organization that provides support and assistance to those suffering with paralysis and other neurological disorders. Mr. Miles currently resides in Medford Lakes with his wife and three children.
Lois Ramondetta-Nuri

Dr. Lois Ramondetta-Nuri, a Shawnee graduate of the class of 1985, is an exceptional surgeon, Associate Professor and Director of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center. After Shawnee, Dr. Ramondetta-Nuri went on to Emory University and Robert Woods Johnson Medical School where she earned degrees in religion, biology and medicine. Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Ramondetta-Nuri has published over forty peer reviewed articles and wrote many book chapters on cancer treatment and palliative care. Most recently, she has published the book, The Light Within: The Extraordinary Friendship of a Doctor and Patient Brought Together by Cancer. Dr. Ramondetta-Nuri currently resides in Pearland, Texas, with her husband and her two daughters Jessica and Lelia.
Helen Thorpe

Mrs. Helen Thorpe, a graduate and Valedictorian of the Shawnee Class of 1983, is a critically' acclaimed author and freelance journalist. She earned her bachelor's degree from Princeton University and a master's degree from Columbia University. Her magazine stories have appeared in the New York Times, New York Magazine, Texas Monthly, Westward, and 5280. She has recently published a critically acclaimed novel, Just Like Us which the Washington Post called "One of the best books of 2009". In addition, she currently serves on the boards of two non-profit organizations that focus on ensuring the success of all children, particularly those who are growing up in poverty. Helen currently resides in Denver, Colorado, where she lives with her husband, who is the mayor, and their son.
