College Application Process
Seniors should get started with the College Application process as early as possible during their Senior year. During the Junior year and the summer between the Junior and Senior year, much of the search work should be done. Senior year should be a time to wrap up visitations and fill out the applications.CEEB Code-310762
By going to the admissions office website of most colleges, you will be able to apply electronically or to print out a hardcopy for submittal through regular mail.
Over 800 private and public colleges accept the Common Application on an equal basis with their institutional application if they have an institutional application. You complete the Common Application once and submit it electronically. Some institutions require a Supplement which is also available through this location.
Another application type is the Coalition for College Access, which was created in 2016. The Coalition allows students to begin working on the application as early as their freshman year in high school.
