Mrs. Sue Weimer MS, RN, CPEN, NJ- CSN
Mrs. Susan Weimer has been a school nurse at Shawnee High School since 2019. Mrs. Weimer graduated from Salisbury University in 1996 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Mrs. Weimer attended New Jersey City University to complete her School Nurse Certification in 2016 and in 2020 completed her MS in School Health Education.
After graduation, Mrs. Weimer worked in a private psychiatric hospital in Baltimore, MD, before returning home to South Jersey in 1998. Mrs. Weimer then began working at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, first on a pediatric psychiatric unit before transferring to the Emergency Department in 1999. In 2013 Mrs. Weimer opened CHOPs first Urgent Care In Atlantic County!
Mrs. Weimer is a Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse and she continues to work on weekends and holidays in CHOP‘s Emergency Department.
Mrs. Weimer is a member of The Burlington County School Nurses association, The New Jersey School Nurses Association, and volunteers for The Animal Welfare Association in her free time.
Mrs. Weimer and her husband were both raised in South Jersey, she has nephews at Lenape, and her husband was a Lenape High School graduate. Mrs. Weimer lives in Medford Lakes with her husband of almost 20 years, four children, and lots of cats and dogs. Her oldest son is a 2021 graduate of Shawnee and her youngest will be the class of 2028!
