Mr. Grady Barber

After graduating from Cherokee High School, Mr. Barber went on to study jazz education at William Paterson University for two years. He later graduated from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with a BM in Music Education and Jazz Studies. Since then he has taught at Southern Regional High School and directed the Marching Band at Riverside High School. Mr. Barber has taught a variety of classes at Seneca including Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Improvisation, Music Theory, and Technology in Music 1. He currently teaches Concert Band at Seneca and several classes at Cherokee High School.

When he's not practicing, Mr. Barber enjoys the outdoors by attending music festivals, hiking, playing disc golf, and of course catching as many Phillies games as he can. He is thrilled to be a new member of the Seneca family and looks forward to the exciting years ahead!
