Cherokee High School
Marching Band ChampionsCherokee High School's Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. Michael Lynch, was recognized by the Board of Education for winning the 2017 USBANDS Group IV-A Open New Jersey State Championship. The eighty-one student performers put on a powerful show, also winning the caption awards for Best Percussion and Best Visual. This is the band's second consecutive Group IV-A state title.

District Security and Emergency Management PresentationLenape Regional High School District Security and Emergency Management Coordinator James Kehoe gave a public presentation of the semi-annual Vandalism & Violence Report for the 2017-2018 school year. By identifying potentially disruptive behavior trends in the early stages, the Lenape District will be better prepared to implement early intervention and preventative measures.

Cherokee High School North Principal Donna Charlesworth introduced seniors Dante Casella & Lindsay Mullen who gave a presentation to the Board of Education about academics, athletics, community service and the various school activities at Cherokee during the 2017-2018 school year.
