Marching Band Group 4A State ChampionsCherokee High School's Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. Michael Lynch, was recognized by the Board of Education for winning the 2016 USBANDS Group 4A State Championship. They placed first out of 18 Group 4A Marching Bands. In addition to winning the overall championship, the band also took home the Best Over-All Effect Award.
