• How to Cite an Article from a Reference Book or a Short Story from an Anthology
     
    Authors last name, first name. "Article or Short Story Title." Title of Reference Book or Book story is Contained In. Other Contributors (editor, forewords, introductions, etc), edition, Publisher, Publication Year, page or pages.
     
    Example:
     
    Hawthorne, Nathaniel. "Young Goodman Brown." Nathaniel Hawthorne: The Celestial Railroad and Other Stories, With a New Introduction by Ross C. Murfin, New    American Libraries, 2006. pp. 87-102. 
     
     
    Basic Book Citation Format:

    The author’s name or a book with a single author's name appears in last name, first name format. The basic form for a book citation is:

    Last Name, First Name. Title of Book. Publisher, Publication Date.
