PARENTS OF SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENTS (POSES)

Dear Parent/Guardian(s):

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year!

Once again, we invite you to remain active in the educational experience of your son or daughter in school.  Please review the website for general information regarding the district's Child Study Teams, educational resources and additional community resources.

The Parents of Special Education Students (POSES) group was created to:
  • provide parents, guardians and caregivers the opportunity to share input regarding special education programs and services in the school
  • increase community involvement and elicit input on relevant topics for future presentations and information sharing, and
  • facilitate communication for positive interactions with district and school staff.
Each school in the Lenape Regional High School District will be holding parent meetings for Parents of Special Education Students (POSES), as follows:

 SCHEDULE  OF  MEETINGS  THIS  YEAR

Tuesday, May 16, 2017   -   6pm at  Seneca High School
   TOPIC:  Welcome back previous graduates sharing transition experiences of life beyond high school and the college experience.

Please check the side tabs on this webpage for additional information on upcoming Parents of Special Education Students (POSES) meetings. The lead facilitators listed as the contacts at each school may be emailed with questions or concerns, as well.    I am pleased to extend this partnership opportunity with you to collaborate with the Special Services Department.

We look forward to your participation and feedback!

Sincerely,

Patricia Piserchia
Director of Special Services
