If you could open your own themed restaurant, what would it be?
Using MS Word, your assignment is to create a ONE -PAGE menu for a themed restaurant using columns, tabs, WordArt, etc. The theme of this restaurant is up to you. You may not so a Sports Team Restaurant.....too easy! Be creative as possible!
Include at least six sections with at least 3 to 4 items in each section: Some examples are listed below:.
ä Appetizers
ä Soups/Salads
ä Sandwiches
ä Entrees
ä Desserts
ä Drinks - Non alcoholic drinks onlyYour mission is to come up with creative names for the food items as well as a short description for the dish. For example,if your restaurant was based on a GOLF THEME, a sandwich for the restaurant might be “The Driver Burger with Tees” - “Half pound burger loaded with tomato, pickles, onions, and our special green sauce. Served with straight fries.” You will also need to include the price for each dish. Make sure that the prices are realistic!
The order of the dishes should follow the above list. For example, you would not want to list the desserts before you list the appetizers.
Below are some formatting suggestions for your menu. You do not need to use all of these suggestions but you should consider some of them to enhance the originality and creativity of your menu.ä Word Art – only use this for the name of your restaurant.
ä Borders and/or Page Borders
ä Shading
ä
Clip Art/ Photos/Images –Make the pictures your own by applying a border, re-coloring, shadowing, ä Tabs with leaders
ä Changes to the font including face, color, size, italic, bold, underline, etc.
ä Page layout – center,justify, etc.
ä Margins – Change the margins if needed.
Your menu will be graded based on originality, creativity, and accuracy as well as completeness.
BE CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN!
