• Welcome To Sequoia!

I would like to introduce myself; My name is Frank Capobianco.
I am one of the School Counselors for Sequoia Alternative Program and I am also the Substance Awareness Coordinator (SAC).

A Substance Awareness Coordinator’s primary job is Identification, Intervention, and Referral Services; all of which is designed to help the student who is involved with drugs and/or alcohol.

My goal as Sequoia’s SAC is to prevent students from becoming involved,  and to educate the students on the dangers of using substances. Through guidance and support, students will be encouraged to refer themselves or a friend in need of assistance, for counseling. Also, Parents, Caregivers, and Staff members will be heartened to contact me when someone in the school environment is in need of assistance.
