                       The Latin Club exists to present the culture and history of Rome

                       as well as to provide an informal setting for the joyous study

                       and investigation of both the Latin and English Languages

    Latin Club Meeting dates are TBD, both during Lunch and Learn and after school: see Google Classroom for regular updates! 
    Thursday, September 30th (Day 1) - informational meeting in D223 during Lunch & Learn (L1). 
    Thursday, October 28th Toga Tying, Laurel Crown Making, Armor Demonstration
    Location: LGI
    Time: 2:30 - 3:15(ish) 
    Concilium Members: Sophia Westfall, Haley O'Shea, and Faith Hutchinson
    Notate Bene - if you would like to wear a toga, you must bring your own sheet! They can be dropped off in D223 the morning of the meeting. 
    Monday, November 15th - Book Club!

    Time: Lunch & Learn
    Book: The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood 
    Tuesday, November 23rd - Roman Food & Gratitude Practice
     Location: Back Cafeteria
    Time: 2:30 (after school) - 3:00(ish)
    Concilium Members: Sadie Strong, Cassie Chang, Kate Gsell
    NB - please join us to learn about Roman foods & practice a little gratitude, just in time for Thanksgiving break. There is a food sign-up sheet on Google classroom if you would like to bring anything for the meeting. 
    • Meetings will last from 20-45 minutes, depending on the agenda.
    • All students, enrolled in Latin or not, are very welcomed to attend!
