Community Service: Founder, Director of Fundraising Team - Ride For Pride - The Trevor Project x The Vicious Cycle: Every September, The Vicious Cycle, a local fitness center, now raises funds to support The Trevor Project, while simultaneously educating the community on the importance of Trevor’s mission. I hosted a large event where 100% of the profit made off class bookings at the studio are given to the organization. We also partnered with local businesses, such as Honey Post, Mystical Blossoms, Percy Candles & Co, Grubr, and more, to give participants giveaways and sell items as donations as well. Overall, I organized and led the fundraising team; delegated tasks to each member, ensuring that no one was overwhelmed with their work load and that their strengths suited their position.
Interact Club President: We work in partnership with Rotary International to organize food drives, community activities, and other events to give back to our community. Currently developing a project to collect and distribute feminine hygiene products and undergarments to underserved areas.
National Honor Society Member: volunteered at multiple local events and places in need of help, including at the elementary schools in the area in getting prepared for the new school year, the Medford Middle Schools to help teach actors dances and help with acting techniques, food drives, and more.

“My high school experience in particular was quite different than I ever expected due to COVID. A lot of the success and growth I have acquired has come from the decision of whether or not to jump at an opportunity in a time where everything was optional. I am lucky enough to have been granted many opportunities from both Shawnee and outside of school. Those that were not offered to me, I made myself. Despite the fact that no one was forcing me to do these things, I took advantage of almost every single one of them, which would not have been possible without the support of my peers and my teachers, who encouraged me to do the simple complex task of trying. Through these experiences, both in extra-curriculars or in high-level classes, I have developed an incredibly strong sense of leadership and independence. These are qualities I know will take me very far in my future endeavors and have been strengthened greatly each year I have been at Shawnee.”
