    • Cherokee students raised money in their annual “Teacher Gone Turkey” contest. Teachers volunteered to win the possibility of wearing a turkey costume the day before Thanksgiving break. The contest allows students in the Special Education department to practice their social and public speaking skills.
    • Lenape hosted their second annual Powderpuff game, which helps fundraise for Student Council and Senior Class events. It was a simple single elimination tournament, with Freshman vs. Seniors and Sophomores vs. Juniors in the first round. The Seniors took the win and they received a ton of positive feedback about the event.
    • On December 9th, Shawnee had an extremely successful blood drive with around 195 signups for the event. Teachers and students from Shawnee were happy to donate blood to help save the lives of people they don’t even know. Shawnee also held, for the first time, a very successful talent show to raise money for the Senior Class trip to Disney.
    • Seneca's Creative Drama class combined with the Special Education Department to put on a play called "The Day the Crayons Quit." This was the first ever play between the Creative Drama and Special Education classes. The Creative Drama class focuses on building self and stage confidence, learning how to use your voice, and working with others.
