3-28-21 Notification of Positive COVID-19 Cases at Cherokee High School

  • Dear Students, Staff, Parents/Guardians:

    This letter is to inform you that two individuals at Cherokee High School have tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

    At the recommendation of the Burlington County Health Department, Cherokee may remain open. Contact tracing has been completed. If you were identified as a close contact (within 6 feet for 15 cumulative minutes or more over 24 hours), you received an additional notification in the form of a phone call and a follow up letter will be sent to you tomorrow morning. If you did not receive additional notification, no further action is required.

    Any student or staff member who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms COVID-19 Screening Tool or being tested should notify the school nurse and remain home from school and all extra-curricular activities.
