This letter is to inform you that an individual at Shawnee High School has tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

At the recommendation of the BCHD, Shawnee may remain open. As of this date, there is no evidence of a COVID-19 spread from within our building. Contact tracing has been completed and the individual’s exposure was traced to a source outside of Shawnee. No close contacts were identified at Shawnee.

Any student or staff member who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms COVID-19 Screening Tool or being tested should notify the school nurse and remain home from school and all extra-curricular activities.
