3-16-21 Notification of Positive COVID-19 Cases at Lenape High School

  • Dear Students, Staff, Parents/Guardians:

    This letter is to inform you that two individuals at Lenape High School have tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).  Lenape and the Burlington County Health Department (BCHD) were able to investigate and determine that these cases were epidemiologically linked to through an exposure outside of school. The District is coordinating closely with the (BCHD) and following CDC and State guidelines in order to ensure the health and safety of our community. 

    At the recommendation of the BCHD, Lenape may remain open. Contact tracing has been completed. If you were identified as a close contact (within 6 feet for 15 cumulative minutes or more over 24 hours), you received additional notifications in the form of a phone call and a letter. If you did not receive additional notifications, no further action is required.

    We appreciate our community’s support and cooperation. Any student or staff member who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (COVID-19 Screening Tool) or being tested should notify the school nurse and remain home from school and all extra-curricular activities.
