Dear Students, Staff, Parents/Guardians:

This letter is to inform you that an individual at Lenape High School has tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The District is coordinating closely with the Burlington County Health Department (BCHD) and following CDC and State guidelines in order to ensure the health and safety of our community. 

At the recommendation of the BCHD, Lenape may remain open. Contact tracing has been completed and has revealed that the individual’s exposure to COVID-19 occurred outside of school and is epidemiologically linked to a case from last week. If you were identified as a close contact (within 6 feet for 15 cumulative minutes or more over 24 hours), you received additional notifications in the form of a phone call and a letter. If you did not receive additional notifications, no further action is required.

We appreciate our community’s support and cooperation. Any student or staff member who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (COVID-19 Screening Tool) or being tested should notify the school nurse and remain home from school and all extra-curricular activities.
