3-4-21 Notification of Positive COVID-19 Case at Seneca High School
-
Dear Students, Staff, Parents/Guardians:
This letter is to inform you that an individual at Seneca High School has tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The District is coordinating closely with the Burlington County Health Department (BCHD) and following CDC and State guidelines in order to ensure the health and safety of our community.
Per the guidelines of the BCHD, Seneca may remain open. Contact tracing is completed. If you were identified as a close contact (within 6 feet for 15 cumulative minutes or more over 24 hours), you received additional notifications in the form of a phone call and a letter. If you do not receive additional notifications, no further action is required.
We appreciate our community’s support and cooperation. Any student or staff member who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (COVID-19 Screening Tool) or being tested should notify the school nurse and remain home from school and all extra-curricular activities. Should you have any questions about this situation, please feel free to call me directly at 609-268-4600, extension 669000 or our school nurse, Melinda Mehigan at 609-268-4600, extension 663700.
Sincerely,
Bradley H. Bauer
