11-3-20 Letter Concerning Lenape & Shawnee High Schools Moving to Full Remote Thru 11/13
-
November 3, 2020 (Updated 8:15 PM)
Dear LRHSD Students, Staff, Parents/Guardians:
Shawnee High School and Lenape High School are closed to in-person instruction through November 13, 2020. This does not affect in-person instruction at Cherokee, Seneca, Sequoia and the TAP program.
The Burlington County Health Department (BCHD) recommended that we close Shawnee High School after we learned of an additional unrelated individual with COVID-19 at that high school. We distributed a letter this evening to the Shawnee High School community regarding this.
Thank you for your support and cooperation. We want nothing more than to keep our students in school, but we need to prioritize the health of our community. We know that we can accomplish both if we work together.
Should you have any questions about this situation, please feel free to contact your building principal.
Sincerely,
Carol Birnbohm, Ed.D.
Superintendent
Lenape Regional High School District
