7-2-20 Parent Survey Regarding the Opening of School

  • Dear LRHSD Parents and Guardians,

Friday, June 26, 2020, the Governor announced his plan to reopen schools in the fall requiring schools to develop a plan with some form of in-person education. As we anticipated the long-awaited guidance from the NJDOE or the Governor regarding expectations for K-12 education, we created a team: Operation Open LRHSD. Committee members will use the roadmap we received on Friday, June 26, to ensure we can deliver equitable access to education within the safety guidelines from the CDC and state and county health departments.  LRHSD’s plans will also contain options for flexibility, as we know everyone must respond to changing state directives required to manage the Pandemic.

Operation LRHSD members are once again seeking parent/guardian input. Please take a few moments and complete the parent survey regarding opening of school.

It will be open until July 6th.

We know much can change between today and September 8th, our anticipated first day of school, and your answers today may be different now than in late August. However, in order for our team to develop a student schedule blending in-person and virtual learning, your responses today are vital.

Lastly, we would like to welcome our newest members of the LHRSD Family, our parents and guardians of the Class of 2024!

Thank you, and for your reading pleasure here is the NJDOE guidance for reopening schools in the fall: https://nj.gov/education/reopening/NJDOETheRoadBack.pdf
