    Medication

All medications taken by the student must be ordered by the student's physician.  Medications are to be administered by the school nurse, with a few exceptions such as asthma medication, a dose of antihistamine (i.e., Benadryl) and epinephrine autoinjector (i.e., Epi-pen, Auvi-Q, Twinject) which can be self-administered with the proper documentation (refer to the appropriate form below).

The school physician provides your student the opportunity to occasionally take Tylenol in school with your written consent.  If your student requires Tylenol on an ongoing basis, it will be necessary for your student to obtain an order from your student's physician.
