Emphasis creates a focal point in a design; it is how we bring attention to what is most important. Emphasis is what catches the eye and makes the viewer stop and look at the image. Without emphasis, without getting the viewer to look at the image, communication cannot occur.

CONCERT TICKETEMPHASIS DESIGN
s Pick your favorite music artist or group and design a ticket for one of their concerts. This artist or group does not have to be alive. You could also have several people touring together....even if they never would!
s The venue may be large or small, local or international......just not my backyard!
s Try to express its style through your typographic and/or image choice, emphasizing what you believe is important, whether it is the name, the style, or the venue. Think about your color choices and types of font. These should match the "feel" of the artist.
s In Canva, create a ticket using the following information:
o Size:
§ Width: 7 inches
§ Height: 4 inches
o Must include:
§ Name of Artist of Group
§ Venue
§ Date and Time of Show
§ Any other information you feel necessary
**Reminder: All text in this design needs to be original. No text can be in the pictures you get from the Internet.
