Shawnee Football NJSIAA Group IV Regional Champions

Shawnee South/Central Group IV Regional Football Champions
  • The Shawnee High School football team and coaching staff were recognized by the Board of Education for winning the NJSIAA Group IV Regional Championship on Saturday, December 7th. The team beat Hammonton High School by a score of 34-0 to win the championship.

Lenape Marching Band USBands Group II Open State Champions

Lenape High School Marching Band Champions
  • Lenape High School's marching band, under the direction of Steve Waldron, was recognized by the Board of Education for winning the New Jersey USBands Group II Open State Championship. The student performers put on a powerful show, also winning the caption awards for Best Music, Best Color Guard, and Best Overall Effect.  This is the sixth consecutive state title for the marching band and tenth in the last eleven years and twenty-ninth in the program's history.
