SOS Supports Bills S3625 and A5209
The SOS coalition strongly supports two bills that provides school districts will receive no less than the amount of State aid received in the 2017-2018 school year. Bill S3625 is sponsored by Senator Bob Andrzejczak and Bill A5209 is sponsored by Assemblyman Matthew W. Milam and Assemblyman R. Bruce Land.
If you support these bills, we urge you to call or email your local legislators and the Governor's Office and let them know that you support both bills. Passing these bills would allow for a review of the funding formula via a joint bi-partisan committee that includes educational stakeholders from districts receiving state aid, losing state aid and those that are neutral.

SOS Supports Bills S3525 and A5176!
The SOS coalition supports two bills that revises the schedule of State school aid reductions for school districts. Bill S3525 is sponsored by Senator Vin Gopal and Bill A5176 is sponsored by Assemblywoman Joann Downey, Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling, and Assemblyman Ronald S. Dancer. It is co-sponsored by Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce.
If you support these bills, we urge you to call or email your local legislators and the Governor's Office and let them know that you support both bills. Passing these bills would allow schools three more years to plan for the multi-year funding cuts.
