Strategic Planning Action Plan Presentation

  • Superintendent Dr. Carol Birnbohm introduced the LRHSD Strategic Planning Action Teams co-chairs for the three goal areas of Health & Wellness, Student Achievement, and Soft Skills for Career and Life. Seneca Assistant Principal David Maier and Cherokee Health & PE Teacher PJ Mehigan headed the Health & Wellness Action Team. Shawnee Assistant Principal Craig Bookwalter and Seneca Assistant Principal Karen O'Neil ran the Student Achievement Action Team. Lenape Assistant Prinicpal Joe De Julius and Cherokee Social Studies Teacher Jessica Le Grange headed the Soft Skills for Career and Life Action Team. Each set of co-chairs gave a presentation to the Board of Education regarding the objectives of the action plan in their goal area.

Donations

    • The Board of Education approved the donation of spirit attire (valued at $200) for Shawnee's Spirit T-shirts from Anna's Nails & Spa.
    • The Board of Education approved the donation of refreshments (valued at $350) for Lenape's Staff Orientation from Dad's Deli.
    • The Board of Education approved the donation of refreshments (valued at $400) for Lenape's Staff Orientation from Marcello's Restaurant.
    • The Board of Education approved the monetary donation of $3,000 for Shawnee's Student Center from Shawnee Class of 2018.
    • The Board of Education approved the monetary donation of $700 for Cherokee's Food Pantry from GFWC Marlton Woman's Club.
    • The Board of Education approved the monetary donation of $2,500 for Seneca's Student Center from Seneca Parent Group.
    • The Board of Education approved the monetary donation of $500 for Cherokee's Concert Choir Trip from Cherokee Foundation for Education.
    • The Board of Education approved the donation of t-shirts (valued at $275) for Seneca's Girls Cross Country Team from Anonymous.
    • The Board of Education approved the donation of three canopy tents (valued at $480) for Seneca's Field Hockey Team from Rick Meale.

Miscellaneous

  • Numerous other requests for approval of student activities and education items were approved by the Board of Education. These approvals are reflected in the formal minutes of the meeting which are available in the office of the Board of Education Secretary.
     
    The next Board of Education meeting is Wednesday, October 16th at 7:30 p.m. at the Lenape District Administration Building in Shamong.
