    How do I see if my transcripts were sent?

     

    A. Under the About Me section on the left-hand side of the page, click my colleges. A chart will appear with the title Colleges I'm applying to. After you submit a TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM to the registrar, the college name will appear on this chart. When your transcript has been sent, the word sent will appear under the Transcript heading of the chart. REMEMBER THE COUNSELING CENTER REQUIRES TWO WEEKS TO PROCESS ALL TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS!!

    How can I request a letter of recommendation from my counselor through Family Connection?

    A.

    Under the About Me section on the left-hand side of the page, click counselor recommendation request. Answer each question or prompt by typing in the corresponding text boxes. When you are finished answering all eight questions, click the Save and I am finished button at the bottom of the page. Next, email your counselor to let them know you have requested a letter of recommendation through Family Connection. They will be able to read your answers when they log into Naviance. REMEMBER TO GIVE YOUR COUNSELOR AND TEACHERS THREE WEEKS TO WRITE YOUR LETTER!!

    What if I have no idea what I want to major in while in college or what career I eventually want to pursue?

     

    A.

    Under the About Me section on the left-hand side of the page, click my personality type. This will lead you to a FREE personality test that will generate a report that will provide you with important information about your personal characteristics. You will learn about careers that are matched to you, your personal strengths and blind spots, how you negotiate in your daily life, and a host of other useful information. The explore careers option under the About Careers section will also provide you with a wealth of information on any number of jobs/careers!

    How can I find out more about a college?

     

    A. Under the About College section, click college search to access a search engine that taps a wide database of schools located throughout North America, or click college lookup if you know want to find out detailed information about the admissions requirements, cost, majors available, etc. of a specific college.
