• Shawnee Girls Basketball won a thrilling triple overtime game last night in the first round of the Group 4 playoffs. The Renegades were led by Avery Dunbar with a game high 17 points and Taylor Tchou with 11. Sophomores Maggie Lutz and Angie Ricci hit pressure filled foul shots throughout the overtime periods to put the Renegades on top. Keke Bastarache and Lily Purfield came up with countless hustle plays on both ends. The girls will play Cherokee at 4pm on Monday in the Quarterfinals.

  • Rex Jacobs, Gavin Oh, and Anthony Orphanos were selected All-State Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. Last year Gavin Oh was the first percussionist in Shawnee history to be selected to the All-State Symphonic Band and was selected again this year. This is Rex's and Anthony's first time selected. The students were selected based off their successful audition against the best musicians in the State this past weekend at JP Stevens High School. The All-State Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band will perform at the New Jersey Music Educator's Conference in Atlantic City this February.
