  • March for Martin

    On Thursday, January 12, Shawnee's Multicultural Club and their adviser, Debra Bunn, attended the annual March for Martin at Lenape High School with district sister schools to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His message of acceptance of diversity and judging people by the content of their character rather than by the color of their skin was remembered and embraced.

  • FBLA and StuCo Raise over $6000

    Shawnee's Future Business Leaders of America spearheaded a school wide campaign to raise money for juvenile cancer. The club ran a half court shot contest and worked with student council and many other Shawnee clubs and staff and helped raise over $6,000 to help fight the disease. Congrats to Alize Alvarado for being named Halfcourt Shootout Champion!

  • Wrestling Donation

    Shawnee Athletic Department would like to thank Trevor Short/MYAA Wrestling and the Shawnee Wrestling Booster Club for their donations towards a new wrestling mat. Both groups were honored at the dual match vs. CH East on Wednesday, December 21st. The mat will be a constant reminder of the dedication by both groups towards the Shawnee Wrestling Program.

  • Thirteen members of the Shawnee Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America are state finalists

    Kim Czekay, Gianna DiMona, Sam Divney, Jack Dugan, Ryan Feast, Natalie Filip, Mark Gross, Chris Herman, Jason Jarecki, Eddie Moriarty, Andrew Ozazewski, Greg Papp and Colin Yearly all qualified for the FBLA State Competition to be held in Atlantic City. The students qualified for states by scoring in the top 8 in South Jersey regional testing in their chosen business topics. They will now compete against the other 3 regions on March 16th at the Water Front Convention Center at Harrah's in Atlantic City.

  • Winter Blood Drive

    Shawnee hosted a blood drive on December 9 with a goal of 236 pints. We met our goal and collected 238. Thank you to all the students and staff that made this possible.

  • Letters to Santa

    On December 9th, Rebecca Stearn delivered 3052 letters to Santa, written by Shawnee students to Macy's Believe mailbox. Macy's will donate $2.00 for every letter mailed that day! A big thank you to all students and teachers that participated!

  • Teachers - 60 college credits
  • Nurses -RN license
Criminal History Clearance
  • Applies to all substitutes teachers, nurses & custodians
  • We will help you apply for these clearances
Pay Rate
  • Teachers:
    • $80/day w/sub certificate
    • $90./day w/teaching certificate
  • Nurses:
    • $150/day w/sub nurse certificate
  • Sub Custodians:
    • $10.80/Hr.
