    Shawnee won 3--2 vs Lenape and Eric Tecce got his 100th career win! Congrats from all his teammates this season and the previous 3 seasons!!!

  • 2016 Olympic Conference Scholar Athlete Honorees

    Shawnee High School is proud to present our 2016 Olympic Conference Scholar Athlete Honorees – Jacob Fleisher and Liza Barr. Both of these individuals define the term student athlete. They both excel in their sport, as well as, in the classroom. Jacob will continuing his education and swimming career at Middlebury College and Liza will study and play lacrosse at Gettysburg College.

  • College Jump Start Information Night

    Attention Junior students and parents!

    The Shawnee High School Counseling Center will be hosting a College Jump Start Information Night for Juniors and their parents in the Auditorium on Thursday, May 5, at 6:00 p.m. Counselors will provide information on the college admission process. In addition, admissions representatives from local colleges and universities will present information and answer questions regarding college admission trends.

    Congratulations to the Shawnee High School April Sportsmanship Honorees. The student athletes pictured were all nominated by their coaches for displaying good sportsmanship and integrity throughout competition during the spring athletic season.

  • Kids for Wish Kids Club held their 2nd Annual Walk Under Stars

    Shawnee's Kids for Wish Kids Club held their 2nd annual Walk Under Stars on April 28th. Inclement weather brought the event indoors, but participants had a good time and raised $4,500 for Make-A-Wish of NJ.

    Congratulations to Molly Flynn (9th grade) and Tim Estacio (11th grade) for their acceptance to the New Jersey All-State Mixed Choir. Both students earned a spot as a result of a competitive audition process.

    Join Shawnee’s FCCLA members in a night full of fashionable fun! No admission is required but donations are accepted to help fund this year’s FCCLA National Leadership Conference in San Diego, California!

  • 2nd Annual Katie Kernan Score Against Cancer Game

    The Shawnee Girls Lacrosse team hosted the 2nd Annual Katie Kernan Score Against Cancer game on April 20th. We are so proud to honor Katie’s memory. Thank you to everyone who supported this cause. With your help, we raised $2,709.73 to be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Katie Kernan’s name.

  • Tennis Wins BC Open!

    Shawnee Boys Tennis won the BC Open for the 3rd year in a row.  Based on a point system of 1 point for every win,  Shawnee competed in the 2 day event that included teams from all the Schools in Burlington County.  On Thursday April 21 Shawnee won all 3 Singles matches vs Moorestown to win the tournament.

  • Shawnee Jazz Ensemble Finalist in Philly Pops Big Band Competition

    The Shawnee Jazz Ensemble is a finalist in the 2016 Philly Pops South Jersey Big Band Competition. The groups performance of Malagueña will be played on 1360AM in the 7AM hour on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday begging 4/25. Starting on 4/25 you can go to the Philly Pops Facebook page and vote for us! Click here for the link.

  • Jazz Band Members Selected to All-South Jersey Jazz Band

    4 Shawnee Students were selected to the All-South Jersey Jazz Band. Juniors Austin Farnum and Cat Madewell were selected to the Senior High Jazz Band, and Freshman Carl Hauser and Josh Lamb were selected to the Freshman Band. Both groups performed at Absegami High School on April 17th as part of the New Jersey Associations of Jazz Educations Honors Band Concert. The students were selected based off a successful audition against the areas best young jazz musicians. ​

  • Athletic Signing Day

    39 student athletes made their college commitments on Monday, April 11th in front of family and friends. 13 NCAA Division I, 3 Division II and 23 Division III athletes will be competing at the next level. The Shawnee Athletic Department would like to congratulate this group for achieving their goal.

Pay Rate
  • Teachers:
    • $80/day w/sub certificate
    • $90./day w/teaching certificate
  • Nurses:
    • $150/day w/sub nurse certificate
  • Sub Custodians:
    • $10.80/Hr.
